Science-Fantasy book review

Blueprint of Eternity is a science-fantasy story with themes of mystery and self-determination.
One of this book’s greatest strengths is its prose, which is often evocative and displays significant effort to write something beautiful. The prose can stray into the excessive, however, and will over-utilize a few key descriptors or phrases.
The story’s other strength is that its setting is fundamentally interesting, with our main character discovering a mysterious and forbidden blueprint, leading to the book’s complex mix of science-fiction, fantasy, and cosmic. The book itself, though, needed to be longer, and a lot of this can be attributed to the pacing, which is breakneck. The first half of the narrative is especially action-packed, with multiple conflicts strung near on top of each other, paired with narrative revelations and character growth. The result is a story that is so devoted to progression that it is never allowed to settle, or for the readers to savor either the mystery or any number of other vital scenes and moments.

For those who want interesting themes and a merciless pacing, this is a good pick.
